Ga Hyang Ru

Stumbled upon this restaurant by accident when a nearby restaurant happened to be closed despite the signage. I love authentic restaurants and you can tell a restaurant is authentic by the name on the store front.This place is authentic and the food is excellent. Definitely a hole in the wall and the decor is obviously lacking. The food is not cheap by Asian standards but the portions are larger than expected. You won’t be disappointed.

I think this is great has lots of food and the spicy chicken is so crunchy just the way I like it just one thing a bit sample and compact but everything is great

Best Korean food in NorthShore

Great Korean black bean sauce noodle, (Jajangmyun). Japchae and seafood noodle was also very good. Cute little place.

Delicious spicy Korean food and warm & kind hospitality...

The food is amazing. I think this is the best Korean-Chinese food you can have in town. However, the ambience/atmosphere can be improved. From what I remember, I think the walls are painted bright green, which I found weird and not easy on the eyes. I have been there around 5 times and will definitely come back for more.

This is the best Korean-style Chinese food in Vancouver. Be warned that this does not resemble actual Chinese food! I highly recommend the Jampong and the Gan Jajangmyun (don't order the regular Jajangmyun) and the Tang Soo Yuk. The restaurant is located near Lonsdale Quay and is small and quaint. I haven't experienced any wait times and the service here is good. I highly recommend this place as I come here often!

I regularly come buying some food in this place. I enjoyed the quick customer service and well prepared dishes. Fantastic work.

A super tasty and big portion food place!! We went there by 4 people after skiing all day, all of us were super hungry. Their fried pork tastes awesome just too hot at the beginning... watch out before you bite! Jajang mian was good.

This is a family run restaurant with limited seating! Very hole in the wall place, but nonetheless it is absolutely delicious. If you love jjangmyeon then this is the place to get it! I would also recommend the deep fried pork with sauce on the side.

A local hidden treasure. Please don't go there - the food is amazing and I don't want the lineups to get any worse. Seriously, please stay away. There's a perfectly good Subway just up the road.

Good foods but slow service

We have been going to Ga Hyang Ru for sometime and it has always been consistent! Great menu and delicious Korean food! Highly recommend their #3 on the menu- sweet and sour beef.

On a way to my meeting, I dropped by here and realized they are open after 11:30am. I was 20 mins earlier but they kindly let me in and still served the delicious foods. Highly recommend this place. Staffs were all friendly too.

Great place for Korean style Chinese food. Jambong was really nice. NanJaWans and SamSunGanJaJangMyun were good too. Owner was really nice and welcoming. Will come again next time coming NorthVan.😄👍

This is by far the best and the most authentic Korean-Chinese Restaurant in Canada. I have lived in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver and this is the most authentic Korean Chinese food. Thanks to the chef/owner of the restaurant to run this here. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for something authentic korean-chinese food.

nothing fancy here in terms of both food, atmosphere, decor or service. fast food korean. worst of all....limited ....extremely limited banchan....no kimchi?!??!?!....so not even sure if can call this place a korean joint.

Noodles are pretty good. Prices are decent, service was good. Can’t complain!
